Fitting with the right shoes
The length should be marked wearing the shoes planned for the occasion. Even a few centimetres of heel change the drape and the distance from the floor.
Fabrics and layers
Chiffon, satin, lace and lined skirts all behave differently. When the dress has several layers, each one must be measured and finished carefully.
Details at the hem
Embroidery, lace edging and embellishments may mean moving the work or altering the dress at a different point. The solution is chosen after examining the garment.
Final check
After shortening, we check the movement while walking and turning. The hem must stay even, elegant and safe to wear.
