A workshop born from a passion for tailoring, grown thanks to the trust of those who return every time a garment needs an expert hand.
Orlo e Via was established in Milan in June 2002, on Viale Abruzzi, by brothers Nicola and Gianluca Luigi Battista. The concept stemmed from a real-life experience: after needing an alteration done to a pair of trousers, Nicola realized just how difficult it was to find a service that was reliable, well-organized, and fast. This led to the decision to offer high-quality alterations with clear turnaround times—and, whenever possible, even on-the-spot hemming. Over time, Orlo e Via opened several locations across Milan; today, the business continues from a single shop at Via Santa Maria Valle 1, on the corner of Via Torino—a Milanese shopping street frequented by local residents with a keen eye for detail. The shop is currently managed by Sandra, who oversees a workshop defined by its extensive experience and professionalism.
Since then we've altered thousands of trousers, jackets, shirts, suits and coats, becoming a point of reference for anyone looking for real tailoring craftsmanship: fast when it needs to be, always careful with every detail.
Every measurement, every stitch is finished with the utmost attention to detail.
We always tell you what's really possible for your garment.
We love our craft, and it shows in every alteration we make.
A direct, personal relationship with every client, for twenty years running.
